Skales v12.9.32 - what's new

The coding window can now be given an objective and told to keep at it until a check says it is done, with its state kept in the session so a restart picks the run back up, and the review of one attempt fed into the next. Around that, the surfaces settle into shape: the Code window takes its colours from the theme you picked and keeps its own shape, its panels survive a reload, the browser sits beside the transcript as a panel that shows the run's own pictures, and Iris wears the theme too. A sub-agent that reads your code is told it is yours, every typeface and piece of artwork Skales ships is named with its licence, and a fresh installation lands on the free built-in provider instead of one that needs a key.

Skales v12.9.32 is here, bringing a more responsive and transparent experience to your desktop AI agent. We've focused on making interactions clearer and the application itself more predictable.

Clearer Interactions

When Skales asks for your permission, a single "yes" can now apply to the entire tool or even the rest of your session, on both your computer and phone. Instead of a button that seems to have failed, you'll now see a card explaining why Skales returned to its prompt. If a browsing task hits a roadblock, it will pause and wait for your input before continuing.

Refined Code Window

The Code window now respects your chosen theme and remembers its size. The model picker scrolls smoothly at any window width, and panels now persist through reloads. The document you're reviewing takes centre stage in its column, with the browser appearing as a panel alongside the transcript to show images from the current run. Opening long conversations is now a single action, clearly indicated, and daily conversation groups can be folded away. Iris also now matches your theme.

Enhanced Control and Transparency

You can now set code loops to repeat a task until verification succeeds, with state saved across restarts and review findings carried forward. A new read-only diagnosis for the WhatsApp bridge in Settings provides clear answers about its status without exposing sensitive data. Every sub-agent role now explicitly states what model it runs on, and you can easily override this setting per role. We've also added a dedicated Licences page within the app, presenting third-party notices in a readable document format, and all typefaces and artwork are now clearly named with their licences.
