Skales vs. AionUi
The best cockpit for other people's agents vs. one agent that is its own.
AionUi (roughly 30,600 GitHub stars as of July 22, 2026, Apache-2.0) is the most interesting product on this list, and the most honest comparison to write. It is a genuine orchestrator: it detects and drives 18+ external CLI agents - Claude Code, Codex, Qwen Code, Goose, OpenClaw, Kimi CLI, Cursor Agent and more - behind one interface, with one shared MCP config, a Team Mode where a leader agent delegates to parallel teammates, cron automation and a full-auto mode. If you already pay for three coding agents, AionUi is the best room to run them in.
It is also, by design, a cockpit rather than an aircraft: its power scales with the CLI agents and subscriptions you bring, and reaching it from your phone means its WebUI or an IM gateway. Skales is one agent that ships whole - 183 built-in tools, its own coding modes, Flow, Studio, and a native mobile app that is itself an agent. Where AionUi is genuinely ahead: it produces editable .pptx, .docx and .xlsx via its own office layer, and Apache-2.0 is a more permissive license than ours.
Choose Skales if…
- You want one thing that works out of the box instead of a cockpit for tools you must own first.
- You want the agent on your phone as an app, not through a browser or a messenger bot.
- You want media, Flow, calendar, email and a coding agent under one roof.
Choose AionUi if…
- You already run Claude Code, Codex or Cursor Agent and want them in one window with one MCP config.
- You need editable PowerPoint and Word files as the primary deliverable.
- You want parallel multi-agent teamwork on a shared task board, and a fully permissive license.
