Most agent apps are a window onto something else. This one is the thing itself - and it can also be the remote control for the bigger one at home.
Standalone
The phone is the agent.
Install it and it works on its own - no desktop, no server, no pairing. It has its own native tools for your calendar, notes, tasks, files, contacts, the web and the camera roll, plus its own memory and chat history. Bring any provider key, or start on the free built-in trial.
Paired
The phone is the remote.
Scan a QR code once and your phone talks to your own Skales desktop over an end-to-end encrypted relay. From anywhere, it can start work on that machine, watch it run live, approve or decline a step, and stop it - with the desktop's full tool set behind it.
Paired, the phone reaches your desktop's 183 tools - and you can watch a run, approve a step or stop it from wherever you are.
What it can do
The tools are native. The model can be too.
Calendar, reminders, notes, tasks, files, PDFs, contacts, location, places, weather, web search and page extraction, image and video generation, HTTP requests - executed by the app itself, not relayed to a server somewhere.
Skales Lokal downloads a Gemma model onto the device and runs it there. Airplane mode, no signal, no key: it still answers. Nothing about that conversation leaves the phone, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Describe a deck, a document, a prototype or a visual and Flow builds it - with seeds, templates and your Brand Kit. Export a finished deck or document to PDF on the device.
Image and video generation with a gallery, reference images that stick around between prompts, and a research-and-enhance step that sharpens a rough prompt before it is sent.
Hand it a goal, close the app. Tasks and schedules run, and it reaches you with a notification when something is finished or when it needs a decision from you.
Talk to it and it talks back - speech to text, natural voices out, and a hands-free voice mode for when your hands are on something else.

Why this one is different
Four things about how this app is built. Each of them is unusual - and each is checkable.
It is built as a native app for Android and iOS and published on both stores. The tools run on the device, using the device: the real calendar, the real files, the real camera roll.
There is no sign-up, no login, no profile on a server. Nothing is synced to us because there is no "us" in the loop - your chats, memory and files live in the app's own storage on your phone.
Requests go from your phone straight to whichever provider you chose, with your own key. Or run the on-device model and no request leaves the phone at all.
Pairing gives you your computer's full power from anywhere, and it is worth doing - but the app is complete without it. Nothing is greyed out until you own a second device.

It stays on the phone. Conversations, memory, files and settings live in the app's own storage. API calls go directly from your device to the provider you picked with your own key. Pairing traffic to your desktop is end-to-end encrypted, and the relay in between cannot read it.
